Enlisted Association of the National Guard of Utah

President Vision 2026-2027

Vision and Goals

EANGUT membership body,

As your newly elected president, I am honored to serve you and represent the enlisted force of the Utah National Guard. It is a privilege to step into this role, and I am committed to continuing the strong legacy of this organization while driving meaningful progress forward.

As we look ahead, we want to clearly communicate a guiding initiative that will shape how we operate, make decisions, and deliver value to every member of our organization:

EANGUT ACT

ACT stands for Activity, Consistency, and Transparency.

Activity means we will be engaged, present, and proactive in creating opportunities, programs, and events that directly benefit our Airmen and Soldiers.

Consistency means we will follow through on our commitments, maintain steady communication, and ensure reliable support across all levels of the organization.

Transparency means we will operate openly, communicate clearly, and ensure you understand what we are doing, why we are doing it, and how it impacts you.

EANGUT ACT is more than just a concept, it is the standard. Every initiative, event, and decision we make will be measured against one question:

Does this add value to the lives of our Airmen and Soldiers?

If the answer is no, we will reassess. If the answer is yes, we will execute with purpose.

In parallel, we remain fully committed to advancing our strategic vision. This means strengthening member engagement, developing future leaders, enhancing communication across the force, and ensuring our organization remains relevant, effective, and impactful.

We recognize that our success depends on you—your involvement, your feedback, and your willingness to engage. Together, through EANGUT ACT, we will continue to grow, improve, and deliver meaningful results for our enlisted force.

Thank you for your continued dedication to the Utah National Guard and to this organization.

Respectfully,

Thomas Wells

President, EANGUT
